The Capital City GLBTA Democratic Caucus is currently seeking energized and qualified candidates to fill the roles of Campaign & Communications Chair and Membership Chair on the organization’s executive board.  Our goal is to build a strong and diverse membership that represents every facet of the GLBT and supportive community while supporting pro-equality, Democratic candidates.  We are gearing up for a very busy 2014 election cycle!

The Campaign & Communications Chair shall report to the organization on the status of candidates and issues (including endorsements), recommending actions, as appropriate.  The committee chair and members shall ensure that all activities, including meetings, are advertised in an appropriate and timely manner.  The committee shall also develop and maintain a chapter website and logo, subject to Board approval.

The Membership Chair is responsible for recruiting new members and managing our membership roster.  Additionally, the committee chair and members coordinate membership drive events and recommend rules and procedures that encourage active participation in the organization.
