Today we mark the beginning of Filipino American Heritage Month, a time when we celebrate the incredible contributions Filipino Americans make in our communities.

As the second largest Asian American group in the nation, the Filipino community represents a vibrant and thriving part of the diversity that makes our country great. As hard-working Americans, civic leaders, educators, doctors, and more, Filipinos touch our lives every day.

While we acknowledge the heritage and history of our Filipino American community this month, we also celebrate the future of all Filipino Americans, the positive contributions they will continue to make, and the essential role they have in our nation’s future successes.
