The Capital City GLBTA Democratic Caucus, in partnership with OUTLaw, presents:
A family law issues update and seminar on the current state of the law regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and families.
Please join us for an educational evening focused on the unique legal issues faced by the GLBT community and their families. Topics to be discussed include, forming the modern family, “gay” adoption, dissolving the modern family, and same-sex domestic violence. Be sure to bring your questions.
While this seminar will be focused on the community in general it will discuss the current state of the law as it relates to GLBT families and will be very informative to any family law practitioner who is looking to expand their knowledge in these areas and will expose them to the various questions and problems faced by the GLBT community.
